研究领域包括注意与认知控制、音乐认知与审美体验、认知与情绪功能的老龄化。目前主持1项广东省自然科学基金面上项目，参与国家科技创新2030-“脑科学与类脑研究”重大项目子课题1项，并曾作为骨干成员参与国家及广东省自然科学基金面上项目各1项，参与科技部国家重点研发计划重点专项子课题3项，发表中、英文学术期刊论文20余篇。兼任中国老年学和老年医学学会脑认知与健康分委会委员、广东省认知科学学会理事，以及Science Advances、Age and Ageing、BMC Psychology、Brain and Behavior、Frontiers in Psychology期刊审稿人。
