党的十九届五中全会强调，“统等推进经济建设、政治建设、文化建设、社会建设、生态文明建设的总体布局。协调推进全面建设社会主义现代化国家、全面深化改革、全面依法治国、全面从严治党的战略布局”，并指出“全党全国各族人民要再接再厉、一鼓作气，确保如期打赢脱贫攻坚战，确保如期全面建成小康社会、实现第一个百年奋斗日标，为开启全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程莫定坚实基础”。
The 5th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee emphasized the overall layout of promoting economic, political, cultural, social, and ecological civilization development in a coordinated manner and promote the strategic layout of comprehensively building a socialist modernization country, deepening reform in all areas, ruling the country by law, and governing the Party strictly in a coordinated manner. The session also pointed out that the entire Party and people of all ethnic groups nationwide should continue to work hard, vigorously ensure the scheduled victory in poverty alleviation work, guaranteeing to build a moderately prosperous society, achieve the first centennial goal, and lay a solid foundation for embarking on a new journey to build China into a modern socialist country in all respects.

Comprehensively Build a Modern Socialist Country in All Respects
全面建成社会主义现代化强国，总的战略安排是分两步走：从二〇二〇年到二〇三五年基本实现社会主义现代化；从二〇三五年到本世纪中叶把我国建成富强民主文明和谐美丽的社会主义现代化强国。未来五年是全面建设社会主义现代化国家开局起步的关键时期。
The overall strategic plan for building China into a socialist modernized country is divided into two steps: realizing socialist modernization from 2020 to 2035, and developing China into a prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, harmonious, and beautiful socialist modernized country by the middle of this century. The next five years will be a crucial period for the initial stage in comprehensively building a socialist modernized country.
全面深化改革
Comprehensively Deepening Reform
全面深化改革的主要内涵表现在以下三个方面。一、完善政治体制，破除体制内弊端；二、革新经济体制，完善经济体系；三、加强民生建设，知民情顺民意。
The main contents of comprehensively deepening the reform are reflected in the following three aspects: firstly, improving the political system and eliminating institutional deficiencies; secondly, innovating the economic system and improving the economic system; and thirdly, strengthening the development of people’s livelihoods, understanding the needs of the people and following their will.
全面依法治国
Comprehensively Advancing Law-based Governance
依法治国就是依照体现人民意志和社会发展规律的法律治理国家，而不是依照个人意志、主张治理国家；要求国家的政治、经济运作、社会各方面的活动通通依照法律进行，而不受任何个人意志的干预、阻碍或破坏。
Law-based governance means to govern the country based on laws that reflect the will of the people and the universal laws of social development, rather than following individual will or preferences. It requires all political, economic, and social activities of a country to be conducted in accordance with the law and not to be influenced, obstructed, or damaged by any personal will.
全面从严治党
Comprehensively Strengthening Party Discipline
“全面”就是管治全党8900多万党员、450多万个党组织，将党建覆盖各领域，抓住领导干部这个“关键少数”。“严”就是真管真严、敢管敢严、长管长严。“治”就是各级党委、支部都要肩负起主体责任，党委书记要抓好党建之事，担起责任；各级纪委要担负起监督责任，敢于执纪问责。
It means comprehensively governing the CPC’s 89 million members and more than 450,000 party organizations and extending the coverage of party building to all areas and focusing on the “key minority” of leading cadres. “Strict governance” means daring to manage strictly and ensuring long-term strictness. Party committees and branches at all levels should shoulder their main responsibilities. The secretaries of each level should take charge of party building. Disciplinary inspection commissions should take on the responsibility of supervision.
新时代发展历史
New History
党的十八大开始，四大全面发展战略逐渐形成。2012年11月十八大提出全面建成小康社会；2013年11月十八届三中全会提出全面深化改革；2014年10月十八届四中全会提出全面推进依法治国；2014年10月提出全面推进从严治党。2014年12月第一次公开将“四个全面”并提，意义深邃。
Since the CPC’s 18th National Congress, the strategies of comprehensive development gradually formed. The goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects was proposed in November 2012, and deepening reforms in all areas in November 2013 at the CPC’s Third Plenary Session of the 18th National Congress, and advancing law-based governance in October 2014, at its Fourth Plenary Session, promoting strict Party governance on October 8, 2014. The Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy was firstly publicly mentioned, marking its profound significance.
2021年，随着全面建成小康社会奋斗目标的实现，党的十九届五中全会将“四个全面”中的“全面建成小康社会”发展为“全面建设社会主义现代化国家”，形成了新的“四个全面”。
In 2021, with the realization of the goal of “comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects”, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China upgraded it in the previous “Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy” to “comprehensively build a modern socialist country,” forming a new set of “Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy.”

Mission and Responsibility
“四个全面”战略布局最终目标是实现中国梦，这需要强大的人才支撑与人才保障，也需要持续不断的学习与创新。大学生思维敏捷、具有开拓精神，观念开放多元，知识相对密集丰富，是社会上最具活力、最具创造性的群体之一，更应该成为创新的主力军和践行者。
The ultimate goal of the Four-pronged Comprehensive Strategy is to realize the Chinese Dream, which requires the fostering of talents and continuous learning and innovation. College students, with their agile thinking, pioneering spirit, open and diverse concepts, and dense and rich knowledge, are one of the most dynamic and creative groups in society. They should become the main force and practitioners of innovation.
大学生应该树立梦想从学习开始、事业靠本领造就的理念，把学习作为一种责任、一种精神追求、一种生活方式，努力学习、勤奋学习、善于学习、开动脑筋、发散思维、善于寻疑，逐步提高创新能力，从而成为未来优秀的社会主义建设者和可靠接班人。
College students should establish the concept of pursuing their dreams through learning and developing their abilities. Learning is a responsibility, a spiritual pursuit, and a way of life, with which, they could gradually improve their innovation abilities and thus become excellent builders and reliable successors to socialists in the future.
2023年3月中旬—4月上旬，第四届广州市互联网企业欢乐跑活动和第30届广州园林博览会先后在白云湖公园和云台花园举办，南国商学院有380名青年志愿者投身志愿服务。活动结束后，共青团广州市白云区委员会发来感谢信，对我校青年志愿者热情周到的服务和无私奉献的精神予以充分肯定。社会服务是大学的重要使命，我校青年志愿者勇担社会责任，积极参加社会实践，彰显了当代青年无私奉献、积极向上的精神面貌。
In mid-March to early April of 2023, South China Business College sent 380 young volunteers in the 4th Guangzhou Running Event of Internet Enterprise and the 30th Guangzhou Garden Expo. The Communist Youth League Committee of Guangzhou’s Baiyun District highly praised the students’ enthusiastic and selfless service in their letter of gratitude after the events. Social service is an important mission for universities. The young volunteers of our university have shouldered social responsibilities and actively participated in social practices, demonstrating the selfless dedication and positive spirit of contemporary youth.

近年来，南国商学院暑期“三下乡”社会实践活动持续深入开展，他们深入乡镇，开展乡村调研和“为群众办实事”志愿服务活动，获得村支书和村民的一致好评。队员们在实践中学党史、强信念、跟党走，以实际行动谱写红绿融合的乡村振兴新乐章，努力为实现“两个一百年”奋斗目标、实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦贡献青年力量。
In recent years, South China Business College has continued to deepen its summer social practice activities to spread understanding of science and technology, information and health in the countryside. They have conducted volunteer service activities and rural investigations to benefit the local people, receiving unanimous praise from village officials and residents. Through practical actions, all team members learned about party history and strengthened their communist beliefs and ideals. With their own contributions to the integration of understanding of science and technology, information and health in rural revitalization, SCBC students are helping to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the nation and contribute youthful strength to achieving the “two centenary goals.”
