SCBC Executive President Zhang Hanlin ‘s Monograph Wins Great Prize


Recently, the results of the Ministry of Commerce’s 2022–2023 Research Achievement Awards for Business Development were announced. The book The Study on the Reconstruction of International Order and China’s National Security Strategies in the Context of Globalization, co-authored by Professor Zhang Hanlin, Executive President of SCBC, won the Second Prize in the monograph category. This monograph represents a landmark achievement of the Ministry of Education’s Major Research Project on Philosophy and Social Sciences and the National Key Publications Plan for the 13th Five-Year Plan period, combining profound academic value with significant implications for policy decision-making.

SCBC Signs Cooperation Agreement with Link World for the ISCC 2026


On the afternoon of March 31, a signing ceremony between SCBC and Nanjing Link World Information Technology Co., Ltd. regarding the “9th IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications (ISCC 2026)” was successfully held in Conference Room 406 of the university’s Administration Building. Professor Zhang Hanlin, Executive President of SCBC; Professor Wang Guanyi, Vice President of SCBC; Professor Zhu Zijang, Assistant to the President of SCBC; Professor Qi Deyu, Dean of the Institute of Digitization Science and Technology of SCBC; and Associate Professor Yang Deniu, Deputy Dean of the School of Computer Science of SCBC, attended the signing ceremony, along with leaders and experts from Nanjing Link World Information Technology Co., Ltd., including Professor Li Fufang and Mr. Liu Haishun.


As co-organizers of this conference, the School of Computer Science and the Institute of Digitization Science and Technology will focus on cutting-edge research fields such as artificial intelligence, 5G/6G communications, edge computing, and cyber security, and will meticulously prepare all aspects of the event. The conference is scheduled to take place in Guangzhou from November 20 to 22, 2026. Through keynote speeches, specialized workshops, and exhibition of research outcomes, the event will bring together global expertise and resources in these fields to establish a high-level platform for academic exchange. Notably, all accepted conference papers will be 100% indexed in EI, and the best submissions will be recommended for publication in multiple high-impact SCI special issues. This initiative will provide high-quality support for faculty members to disseminate their research achievements and enhance their academic capabilities.



SCBC Students Win Multiple Awardsat GBA College Students International Advertising Festival


Recently, the awards ceremony and the finals of the 5th GBA College Students International Advertising Festival successfully concluded at the Huanghe Hall of GIMC, and the list of winners has been officially announced. SCBC Students from the School of Culture and Communication delivered an outstanding performance, winning 2 Gold Awards, 1 Silver Award, and 6 Excellence Awards. They also emerged victorious among the 12 teams in the on-site finals, securing third place. Additionally, SCBC was recognized as an “Outstanding Organizing Unit” for its remarkable organizational efforts, and professor Yang Xianshun and Miss. Duan Jiali were honored with the title of  “Outstanding Advisor.”



SCBC Holds Academic Atmosphere Promotion Meeting


To fully implement the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education and to continuously promote the development of a sound academic culture, SCBC held an academic atmosphere promotion meeting on April 2 in Room 309 of the Administration Building. The meeting focused on key tasks for academic atmosphere development, systematically deployed the work arrangements for the new semester, and establishing a “four-in-one” system of academic atmosphere development. This system comprises four aspectseducational guidance, institutional safeguards, service support, and cultural immersion, aiming to comprehensively enhance the quality and efficiency of student education, management and services. Xu Zhichao, Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered remarks. Gao Caiyun, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office, presided over the meeting. Attendees included Party Branch Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries from each school, as well as responsible officials from the Student Affairs Office and relevant functional departments.
